Welcome to my blog!

I really do want to appreciate you being here and taking time to read through this and perhaps a couple of my posts. Honestly, thank you.

What is this blog about?

So much to say in few words. Basically, this blog is my safe space and I would like it to be your safe space too. It is the place where I tell my story, and other people’s too. To also share my perspective on a wide range of topics and take you along with me on the changing and evolving journey of life.

This was, in a very big way, a push from my mother’s passing which made the concept of life and death very real. I understood that we only get to do this once and our time here is limited. Now, my main pursuit is to die empty; to give everything I have got and not to waste any single God-given gift.

What I promise here is honesty. No shallow platitudes. Sometimes I’ll say uncomfortable things, because I’ve always questioned everything. I don’t believe there’s only one way to see the world — and that belief is at the core of who I am.

On a more personal note:
I’m married to an incredible man, Bruno Otiato, and together we’re raising our beautiful son, Noah Marimba. My dad’s name is Kadenge, and I have three siblings — Neema Wanja, Lemmi Kithi, and Emma Mbeyu.

And me? I’m Linda Monje.
Let’s begin 🙂
